How to deal with disruption?

I have a solution for you- its beyond innovating.

Let’s rewind for a moment:

- Streaming disrupted theaters and TV
- Smartphones disrupted cameras & music players
- Apps disrupted physical businesses: taxis, hotels

My approach if you’re in similar situation:

Progress through choices based on the scenario:

1. Ask – Can you innovate? Move on—like Walkman did.

But you still can...

2. Partner – Sell your most valuable tech to the disruptor.

Or you can...

3. Repurpose – Like Walkman’s audio or speaker tech.

If none of that works...

4. Pivot – Completely, with distribution—like Fujifilm.

Choose before market drowns you, or panic will follow.

Conduct a deep assessment to gain clarity on your opportunities.

You will be the saviour in the eyes of your team and industry.
