Corporate innovation is dead

Standing out isn't about efficiency and control:

Executives decide what works and how.

Control cost and project administration.

In 2018, establishing an innovation department became a trend—a necessity.

But many of these efforts failed miserably.

Leaders should refrain from being protective.

What should corporates do instead?

What I recommend based on observing corporate dynamics and innovation strategies:

1. Avoid handing over innovation to traditional leaders.
2. I’ve seen creative roles filled by people with no creative skills, simply due to connections and seniority.

(what I call a bad political game).

3. Grant the innovation team autonomy.
4. Provide others with innovation skills.

Before, corporations got innovation wrong, now you can still revive old dreams.

(Reinventing is a must right now)

Leave your surrounding glass; engage with people in the field and reclaim your vision.

P.S. Have you witnessed innovation dying in corporations?

P.S.S I'm building a business strategy tool that uses real-time trends to help companies like yours discover new opportunities and stay ahead—based on your industry, size, and region.
It also provides a clear roadmap, required resources, and actionable steps.
